When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, screens viewed, and actions taken.
• Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics to improve the App experience.

1.3 Camera and Photo Access

Homi requests access to your device's camera to enable receipt scanning, barcode scanning, and bill scanning features. Photos and scanned images are processed locally on your device or through our secure processing services. We do not store your photos on our servers beyond what is necessary to process the scan.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and functionality.
• Process and display your household management data (bills, inventory, tasks, etc.).
• Generate AI-powered recipe suggestions based on your kitchen inventory.

3. Third-Party Services

Homi integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Your household data (bills, inventory, tasks, etc.) is primarily stored locally on your device. When cloud sync features are available, data is transmitted and stored using industry-standard encryption protocols.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can delete your account and associated data at any time through the App's Settings. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Advertising

The free version of Homi displays advertisements through Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your interests, which are inferred from your activity across apps and websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

• iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."

Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.
